Reading this book is like sitting down to coffee with Chris and Jessica and hearing their story. Chris writes in a very real, relatable way. I couldn't put this book down!This book appealed to me both because I love to travel and experience new places and because I have questioned "where is the line between faith and stupidity." I believe God provides for us and takes care of our needs, but I also believe that he calls us to be good stewards of the money and resources we have. Chris explores this question not just by sharing their experience, but also their frustrations and doubt along the way.
One of the things I loved most about this book was that is shows the fun-loving side of God. He wants us to rest, to enjoy his creation and experience joy. Chris talks about how when living a lifestyle of faith and going on a missions-based trip, they felt the need to be "working for their paycheck" by constantly doing mission work. But throughout their trip God gave them opportunities to rest, visit landmarks and have fun.
This book challenged me and encouraged me to dream, take risks and "get out of my boat!"

Are you the type of person who believes there is more to life than clocking in to work, running errands, eating, and sleeping? Do you want to go after the things that stir deep down in your heart? Are you willing to at least entertain what walking out in faith might look like? If you answered "Yes" (and let's face it ... all of us are saying "yes" ... just some louder than others) I would highly recommend you that you read "The Line Between Faith & Stupidity".
When you read this book you will come to see that Chris & Jessica's story started out with a question that all of us deal with ... "what if I went after the BIG thing?". The Gunn's journey of faith gives the reader a transparent and intimate view of walking through the tension of living by faith across a wild 24 country adventure. Chris's writing style conveys a raw and honest depiction of the Gunn's journey across the globe and will make you feel like you were living in it alongside them.
